The mentally challenged brother told his brother (the dad) that he took his daughter the same place that he had taken his wife. This was when they were younger, which was the scene from the very beginning when they were outside the little shed/shack. That’s when they found her there alive, but he burnt her hands with chemicals so she couldn’t feel anything again.

I know people are entitled to your opinions, but if your reasons are dumb, or just plain wrong, then it’s ignorance, not an opinion.
People say she’s a slut. Do any Sookie haters know what a slut is? She didn’t loose her virginity until she was 25, and that was with Bill, who she loves. In the fourth season, she has sex with Eric, but that’s a year later; she broke up with Bill. She began to love Eric too before she had sex with him. Calling her a slut isn’t opinion; it’s ignorance. If Sookie is a slut, then what does that make any of you?
They say she is selfish. Why would anyone think that? She saved Bill twice in the first season. She also saved Sam in the last episode of the first season. She drove Jessica to her family so she could see them one last time. She saved Bill from Lorena in the third season and gave him her blood so he could survive. She saved Eric from burning in the sun with Russel. She also stayed with Eric when he lost his memory. She held Tara in her arms after she was shot by Debbie and cried. She cares deeply for her friends, family, and those close to her. How is she selfish? I doubt any of the Sookie haters have done anything selfless.
It’s also obvious that fangirls are jealous of her.
Why do people hate Sookie? Can any of you Sookie haters come up with a good reason, or a counter argument?

I don’t think Sookie is a slut or selfish.
I think she’s being abused and manipulated by America’s favourite rapist Bill.
And sometimes the decisions she makes are confusing. Examples being first hating Bill a lot for what she did to her and then the next season never mentioning it again. I don’t think this is actually her fault though and more her being manipulated. (Anyway there are a lot of theories out there about.)

I don’t believe that it’s necessarily because Data is an android and has superhuman capabilities. It gives him an advantage in carrying out his duties, but that doesn’t mean that’s the reason why he’s third in command.
Since he’s *head* of operations and a (lt.) commander by rank, he’s in the "order of succession" of the ship regardless of his normal department, and may have command training under his belt. In other words, he is the designated third-in-command of the ship. Consider the original series, for example–Spock was the first officer, but was also the Chief Science Officer and thus wore a blue uniform for the sciences department. So having a more prominent job title in another department (and having your main duties be in that department) doesn’t preclude having the seniority and credentials to be in command. When Data was given command of a ship in "Redemption," he switched to the red uniform with no fuss.
It’s kind of like the U.S. government’s order of succession–if the President and Vice President were in no capacity to lead, then the Speaker of the House of Representatives would act as the President, even though they’re from the legislative branch of government rather than the executive branch.
