I agee with everyone. This is by far the worst season. The contestants are a bunch of big, whining babies and the weight loss statistics are really low. I think Conda is just horrible. I also think she has too much control and I don’t understand how everyone pays attention to her. Bob even said that she exercised an enormous amount of control in the house. There is just no kindness and no empathy this season. I do love Bob, but even he rolls his eyes or makes combative remarks when Dolvett speaks. It is a kindergarten. Jimmy and Sabrina are dating now and after neither one of them wants to fart in front of each other so Virginia tells to be themselves. Sabrina agrees and tells Jimmy that she’s going to stop taking the medication that her ex-boyfriend made her take.

Virginia says that she and Burt know every weird thing about each other and that that’s what love is but Burt is scared to tell Virginia that he’s been shaving his hairy feet since he was a teen because he thinks it’s a deal breaker. He makes Andrew come over to borrow a razor and shaving cream and Andrew shaves his feet in front of Virginia to see how she would react and she finds it gross and says "That’s probably why his wife left him!". Burt decides not to tell her that he’s the one that shave his feet.

Jimmy is afraid that Sabrina is going to be really crazy but it turns out that without medication Sabrina is more of herself and more out going. Without her meds Sabrina even breaks her rule about not sleeping with her boyfriend until a month of dating.

Jimmy and Sabrina have sex and before she goes to sleep she puts on a pair of pantyhose over her head and face. She explains to Jimmy that when she was 6 a spider got into her ear and laid eggs and now that she doesn’t take her meds the arachnophobia came back. Sabrina comes over one morning and she finds Jimmy on the couch with a couple of spiders on him. Sabrina and Virginia scream and he explains to her that he is okay and that he’s doing it so she can get over her fear. The spiders then go on Jimmy’s face and start biting him.

He ends up in the hospital with a very swollen face. Sabrina is thankful that he tried to help her over come her fears instead of making her take medication and promises to try to sleep without pantyhose. Jimmy then says "Are you crazy! Look at what these things can do! And they’re every where, they have thousands of babies! We can help each other watch out for them!"

Burt tells Virginia that he shaves his feet and Virginia says she thought it was weird because she saw Andrew do it. She tells him that what ever weird thing he does she will always act like it’s normal because she loves him.

The family puts mosquito nets over their beds and over Hope’s crib to avoid spiders. The ending scene is a spider crawling on Maw Maw’s face while she sleeps.

I decided to start watching Supernatural, so I sat down with the six seasons on netflix, but it seems like most of season 1 so far is unrelated single-encounter episodes with no long-term plot effects and, while I will one day watch all of them, right now I’m just really eager to join the fandom and I need to know what happens up to now– like for instance, I’m sure I’ll come to love him, but right now I’m like "who the fuck is Castiel?" and it makes me really sad that I even have to ask that question, so I was wondering if some lovely Supernatural fan might make a list of all the episodes (at least in the first few seasons) which have long-term plot significance? Like, all the episodes I need to watch that tie in to the plot beyond a single episode. Please help! I really want to jump into the fandom on tumblr but I need to know the plot up to now or else I’ll just get spoiled all over the place. Thanks!

I have watched and rewatched all the seasons of Supernatural because it is one of my favorite shows.

Unfortunately, there isn’t much you can do other than to watch them all. Because if you skip them, you will get more and more confused as it goes along. Plus, there is a bunch of extras tied in there if you watch them all, put in there for the hardcore fans as a bonus. Little past references and jokes. These will probably also confuse you if you don’t know what they are talking about. Trust me.

BTW, each season sort of has it’s own major plot to deal with. This is how most shows are. Technically there is a long-running plot to every show, but in reality almost every show has season-long plots, and they are just written so that they can tie together from season to season, because they wont make sense if they don’t. But most shows, especially on network television, are contracted and produced on a season basis, so they are written so that there is an intro, a climax and an ending for every season. This is because there might not always be a next season. You have to know all the season-long plots to know the series-long plot (which constantly changes and morphs along the way), and in order to know the season-long plots, you have to see all the episodes.

You just have to put all the stuff you’ve heard out of your mind, because the first several seasons will have none of that. And really, there is long term relevance in all the episodes, because they tend to be mixed in with the rest of the episode. For example, one episode may not deal with any long term stuff until like the last 1-5 minutes. That’s just how it is. You’ll just have to put in the time…

Season one: mostly just individual hunts, just getting introduced to their world, and eventually building your knowledge of it. Without season one, you will be confused for the rest of the series.

Season two: starts dealing with demons and stuff.

Season three: starts dealing with hell and whatnot.

Season four: starts dealing heaven and whatnot.

Season five: starts dealing with the apocalypse and whatnot.

Season six: the aftermath and an entirely new long term plot.

Season seven: the continuation and new plots, etc. etc. and unknown.

Can you jump into a further season and skip episodes and still enjoy it? Sure. But will you miss the majority of the cool stuff as well as be severely confused along the way? I guarantee it. There’s always stuff that ties back to old episodes. For example, one of the last few episodes in season 7 dealt with and referred back to something in season 1. It was extremely funny and interesting if you knew what had happened. You could have understood the episode without seeing it, but you would have missed everything good about it and been pretty confused. Or, in season 5 or 6 there was a bunch of stuff with a character that was throughout seasons 1-3, and you had to know that stuff. It all relates because you learn things with the characters and along the way. Just have patience and enjoy the episodes, because they’re all good.

At least you have the ability to watch it on Netflix without commercials or waiting. I had to wait a week and bear through 5 minutes of commercials for every episode after season 3, and had to spend almost $50 for each season before that on DVD. You’re lucky.

I remember how Nick used to have more cartoons than real shows, it used to have that slim logo, their shows were sometimes seen as "gross," at times and were filled with innuendos (those are jokes that are hidden so that kids don’t get them, but older people do) so that teenagers and adults could enjoy them too. I remember when Spongebob used to be GREAT! Now it is aweful. I am so depressed seeing how much Spongebob sucks now. All those who still watch Spongebob MUST be young because the only way you can think the new Spongebob is great is if you never saw the original Spongebob seasons.

BUT I also remember shows that actually had heart in them too. They may have been "gross," or have innuendos in them at times, but they had good stories to them. Shows like Hey Arnold, Invader Zim, Old Fairly Oddparents, Rugrats, and of course the original Spongebob.

And some of you may say "You are just getting older, it’s normal to think modern cartoons suck and yours were better," but no that’s not it. I still love cartoons. Not just mine. On Cartoon Network, I am a huge fan of Adventure Time and the Amazing World of Gumball. I did watch Flapjack and Chowder too on Cartoon Network, until they were recently cancelled. I also watch the Regular Show. And on Disney, I even watch Fish Hooks (And Disney is doing the same thing too, with almost NO cartoons and all real shows with some teenager trying to become famous….but that is a whole other story)

I try, FORCE myself to watch Spongebob, but it has just gotten so TERRIBLE. The writers of Spongebob ARE AWEFUL and not funny at all.

So as you can see, I’m not biased. I"m not saying my favorite shows were the best, but I think it’s clear that the animated shows have gotten aweful on Nickelodeon. And don’t get me started with all these real shows. There are TOO MANY NICK!

Is Nickelodeon selling out and trying too much to be like Disney? What happened to all that heart that used to lie within the slime and strangeness that was Nickelodeon? Now the animated shows are all just pointless. They have corny lessons and recycle the same jokes over and over again.

Nickelodeon, what happened to you? You were the "cool," kids channel compared to Disney and their corniness. NO offense to Disney, I think they’ve had a few great shows (not recently), but Nick wasn’t afraid to make parents question what their kids were watching.

i was watching iss pyaar ko kya naam doon recently (even though i dont understand hindi, watching it purely for the characters bubbly personality). the stars who act in that show seems to have waaaayyy too much makeup on :/ even the male lead got makeup on his face :/ not to forget the old nani lol.. is it really necessory to put makeup on for the male lead? i understand the female lead (wants to look pretty) but seriously a guy with makeup on?

All the lighting will tend to "wash out" a person’s face, so makeup is used to make them look "normal", although they tend to go overboard sometimes.

And this may surprise you. Your local news team wears makeup, too. If they’re in a studio under all those lights, you can bet that they’re wearing makeup. I used to work at a tv station and to me, it always looked funny to see the anchors wearing towels around their collars to avoid getting makeup on their fancy shirts. Then they’d use the towel to remove the makeup after the newscast.

Normally the Doctor just as any other Timelord would have 13 generations (11 of them have been used already) However River Song saved the doctor using her remaining regenerations. Does that now mean that the regenerations that river song had were given to the doctor and he’ll be able to regenerate 10 more times or were they used just to heal him and therefore he still only has 2 regenerations left?

I think Sam and Dean are VERY bothered by the death of Bobby and Castiel – especially Dean. Maybe they just don’t express it the way you would – but they do express it as their characters would. Sam struggles to keep Lucifer out. You can see him in different scenes pressing his hand indicating that he’s struggling to keep aware of the of the reality of this world – especially in 7.10 Death’s Door. Dean tends to drink and seek revenge. That’s why they’re having Frank focus on Dick Roman and how to stop him. While Sam & Dean are doing what they can by fighting the monsters of the week – we always see them in contact with Frank who is trying to get information about Dick Roman. (Unfortunately all they have is "Dick about Dick" as Sam says.)

In episode 7.11 "Adventures in Babysitting" – you see how upset Sam and Dean are about Bobby’s death. For the first week they do nothing and then they become focused on getting Dick Roman and figuring out what the numbers mean.

I think because they feel betrayed by Castiel they are not as obvious in their grief. There’s nothing to seek revenge against, since Castiel basically brought it on himself. But there have been a couple of references to how borken up Dean is over Castiel’s betrayal. We’ll probably see more when Misha Collins comes back.

I just finished watching the latest series and WOW.

It is amazing, the storylines and plots of each season are intense, and there are so many unexpected twists, literally, one at the end of every episode! its brilliant!

I am extremely fascinated by Serial Killers (Sounds sick I know) but it links with my future occupation (Criminologist/Forensic Psychologist) and not only is it an all around good show, but it’s educational. Of course, it isn’t real or accurate, but it puts you in the feet of a killer, which is necessary for my interests.

He is a Serial Killer who works for the Miami Metro Police Department, he searches for the killers of current cases the police are taking care of, and each season there is a major antagonist (Major Serial Killer whom the season revolves mostly around) , Dexter kills criminals, not only other Serial Killers, but he mostly kills murderers.

Nobody knows Dexters secret (whether they find out, or not, I’ll not tell you) , not even his own sister (who’s not his biological sister) Only his late father knew of it (The police officer who taught him the ways of the ‘Code’)

All round interesting show, definitely recommend watching it. It’s a 9.5/10 from me :’)

Well she listens to her guests problem carefully and patiently, and allows them enough them to fully express themselves… before giving them advice.

She will visualize herself in their position and try to shymphatise with them and caress them…

People go on her shows because they need support, and she tends to provide that along with her "working Team"

She has a lot of experience on her shows, so she has become a more understanding person, and often she has experienced some of the issues expressed on her shows herself personally, so she understands how to deal with…. etc etc lol =P

I think its a man, is he the brother of the girl in the wall?
