Invader Zim is by far, the best show that ever aired on TV.

Invader Zim was NOT cancelled because of ‘Bloody Gir’. Nickelodeon simply did not earn enough money to produce more episodes, the show did not appeal the correct audience, and Nick WOULD have kept the show if they didn’t know how popular it would get in 10 years.

Also, I’m reallyreallyreally sorry to say that Invader Zim is NOT coming back. There was a chance of revival though, in 2011 for the Operation Doom DVD with top rated episodes. Nick said that if the sales are high enough, there WILL be a revival. But, the f*ggy network lied and just said that ‘they don’t want to bring it back’.

Not that I like to criticise Jessica but she has that habit to somehow associate her songs with other big singers. This time her song choices are by Mariah Carey, Aerosmith and Jackson 5. Well even though Jessica proved that she can handle "My All" by Mariah; her version of "I Don’t Wanna Miss A Thing" lacks the rock essentials required; and lastly her "I"ll Be There" definitely sounds karaoke sweetly and perfectly done. The audience and voters are not to be fooled.

Really wish she could interpret and render songs by more obscure artistes. She follows a path laid out by the original version and renders it technically. Jessica needs to contribute more in musicality and artistry.

I was a little worried that I wasn’t going to be able to post the results because the weather where I am is a bit intense (a lot of thunder), and there was a power outage last night in the area. Thankfully, the power didn’t go out tonight, and I have now posted my review for the week before the American Idol season 11 finale.

1. Joshua Ledet

Joshua’s reputation as the most consistant contestant of the season continued tonight. This guy knows how to sing old school songs and make ‘em into something new. His first performance, it was amazing. Absolutely nothing to criticize, andnit was a great song choice.

He chose "Imagine" as his second song. This song has been performed many times on this show, but he did an amzing job with it despite that. He always goes over the top because he can always pull off over the top performances, and he always digs deep with every song that he sings.

And for his last performance, I’ve said it before I’ll say it again. Holy crap! He’s given it everything he has every single week, especially in recent week, and he blew that song out of the water. Absolutely nothing to critique. Overall, he delivered big time tonight, and there’s no way that he should go home.

2. Jessica Sanchez

For her first performance, she delivered so beautifully, an it was nice to see her pull back and take It slow and easy with this song. I can see why Jennifer picked that song for her. She proved that she doesn’t need to go all out with powerful vocals for every song that she sings.

Her second song was a very interesting choice, and it allowed her to deliver an amazing performance. It was beautiful, powerful, and it was just a great performance. And I especially loved the second half because it was really, really good. Man, can this girl sing!

As for her third performance, she took on one of the most well-known songs in the world, but she pulled it off. She showed off the power in her voice while still delivering tender vocals. I loved it. Steven said that he thinks she’ll win, and she just might. Jessica + Joshua = Perfect Finale. End of story.

3. Phillip Phillips

This guy is nothing more than the one remaining obstacle that’s standing in the way of a perfect finale. His first performance, while good, wasn’t amazing, and it was once again the same ol’ song and dance that he does every week. I’ve never even heard of the song or the band, and it brought nothing new to the table.

His second performance wasn’t that original compared to his other performances. It also felt a bit underwhelming, and it was once again Phil showing absolutely nothing new or different. Sorry, but it just seemed bland, unentertaining, and like Jennifer said, there was no wow factor.

His final performance was his best performance of the night, and it actually has me a little worried that he might make the finale, because it was unique, unexpected, and actually really good, and was his best performance of the season. However, I still want him to go home, so I am sweating like a pig right now.

So there’s my rankings for this week on American Idol. Tomorrow night, the finale is decided, and it needs to be Joshua and Jessica. I am hoping that the Vote Flr the Worst curse sends Phil home so we can finally have a non-biased season of American Idol, but Phil gave it his all on the last performance, so I have no idea what’s going to happen. All I can say is vote for Jessica like crazy tonight, cause she needs the most support right now.

Tony, I personally agree..Joshua should win American idol, it is time that America shows they are not racist and he is one of the best performers and if American Idol is racist that would be bad, because ‘the Voice” is not racist…2 years in a row…black guys won ”the Voice” last year Javier Colon and this year Jermaine Paul.

Some people say ”the winner has to be from the South because the ”south” votes for their own” that would give a disadvantage to Jessica..because that would mean Joshua and Phillip are from the South…and Jessica is from California but that is silly if that happens as well, it’s supposed to be a talent show and it’s not called ”American idol of the Southern States” so that makes no sense.

I saw their hometown visits and Joshua and Phillip did get a bigger crowd to support them there although Jessica got a lot..Some People love Jessica’s voice but say they cannot figure out her personality…they mistake her maturity and her being a little more reserved for aloofness..she is a nice girl…she should be the runner up and Phillip is a nice guy and he did a great job with his last song…Jimmy Lovine chose a great song for Phillip there that was different from the other songs Phillip performed before…I hope for Joshua to win and for jessica to come second but I looked at what others said and a lot of Phillip Phillip fans are there…so I think we have to be prepared that Phillip could easily make it to the finale…and Joshua or Jessica could get voted off..some say Jessica was the weakest yesterday…so she might go home even if that’s wrong…I hope not.

They are all winners anyhow and should get recording contracts..the final 3 stand out and all are so different with their kind of music that I believe whatever happens they will make a recording contract and will make music..Hollie continues, Skylar will go on and Colton said he would and Elise is in a band and will play music anyhow…so there are really 3 winners here but the question is who is the next American Idol and wins 1 million recording contract…I hope for Joshua and Jessica to be the runner up but Phillip has a million of girls voting for him so he might win it all…next week American Idol perform on Tuesday and the winner will be declared on Wednesday, not Thursday..x

I’m in my early 20"s now, so I don’t see much other than flipping through the channels and occasionally watching with my little cousin. But yeah, it looks like garbage now compared to what we had back in the 90′s. I mean, Rocko’s Modern Life? Doug? Hey Arnold!? You can’t beat those shows… heck, most these days can’t even touch them.

But to answer your questions- No, I really don’t think there’s anything we can do about it. TV, movies, music, etc.. all go in swings. Right now, those shows you listed are "popular" with the current crowd. And when the corporations are making money off of them, they will keep them and make even more like them. We grew up with our shows, the kids today are growing up with theirs. Just the way it goes I guess.

I can’t really think of any off hand because I don’t watch a whole lot of TV, especially "kids shows’ anymore. But if you want a good "cartoon", watch "Archer" on FX… lol Funny stuff….

I’m having trouble recalling the name of a drama I saw forever ago. I’m very hazy on the details, but I know it was (as usual) about a girl who had an enormous debt on her head, but in this one she like, showered in bookstores. Also, she accidentally met an old man and he took her into his very large, eccentric home with about 5 young men that I believe were his sons, although I don’t remember the relation.
