Why does the major shows : The Office, Big Bang, P&R, Modern Family, ect..
take so much time off???? are you serious how much work really goes into an episode? they get 3-4 weeks off for Christmas time break, then 2 new episodes and another hiatus? are you effing me? I don’t feel that it has always been this way, didn’t friends and older shows run more consistently?
Don’t get me wrong, im not saying the actors and crew doesn’t work that is not at all what i am saying, But they shows aren’t on the entire year anyhow, just for a "Season" .
Don’t football players(just an example of another group of people paid Millions to do a job) work for their season with 1 bye week in a 16 game season, with preseason of 4 games and postseason.
Couldn’t they step up their game based on how much cable is now a days? How many households pay $30-$80 a month to see their favorite show twice that month.

They know that they control your viewing pleasure and it’s fun for them to grab you by the balls and twist and yank a little.
They know they don’t get paid until they air their episodes, so they eventually do, they just like to frack with you a little bit before they do.
